This year, cadets and adult volunteers from all four forces joined together to commemorate 150 years of the cadet movement.
On July 6, as part of this year's historic celebrations, London saw hundreds of youngsters from all four cadet forces parade past His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales on The Mall.
On the same day, two lucky Army Cadets were put through their paces and chosen to take part in a specially arranged Red Arrows flight for the Cadet150 celebrations.
Just days after the Royal Review, cadets and adult volunteers were invited to a special reception in the Palace of Westminster hosted by the Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow MP.
In August, as part of Cadet150 more than 130 specially selected cadets went to Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) Dartmouth to complete the residential section of their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
Sixty specially selected teenage cadets from all over the UK have returned from South Africa after a life-changing expedition, during which they volunteered with Prince Harry's charity, Sentebale, supporting orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho.
This summer four exceptional Army Cadets earned the St John Ambulance Young First Aider of the Year Award.
Disaster was averted for one group of cadets this summer thanks to the quick thinking and courage of their adult volunteers.

We are currently looking for over 700 adult volunteers nationwide. Watch our video to find out more about volunteering opportunities in the Army Cadet Force.
